Exceptional Service and Delicious Dining Experience

Welcomed warmly by attentive staff, we enjoyed a delightful Christmas dinner with generous portions and perfectly cooked dishes. Don't miss the amazing desserts! For future guests, asking for a quieter room can enhance your stay further.

It was reasonably priced. Perfect and comfortable location, it was right by the restaurant from a varied menu using local produce where possible, a very nice clean newly refurbished pub and Cambridgeshire.

The inviting communal areas and unique local ales offered extensive variety for a post-dinner choice.

A warning about leaving the window open due to moisture issues was somewhat concerning regarding room maintenance.

Possibly the best and fine stay for a wedding. Magnificent and unbeatable location, air-conditioned rooms for an arm chair. Location close to both the restaurant and the bar, a conservatory, and the centre of Ely. Also, to the east coast.

The variety of gin in the bar is a standout feature, especially the pink gin-refreshing and sharp. The lively atmosphere in the restaurant adds a unique charm to the experience.

Room two had uncomfortable beds with flat, old pillows that left much to be desired. The room's cleanliness raised concerns, as I woke to find bite marks, hinting at possible bed bugs. It was disheartening to pay a high price without any amenities or true comfort, compounded by a bland and austere room environment.

I stayed here for a short visit to check out Ely Cathedral and the local sights. One of the highlights was the easy access to nearby attractions like The Stained Glass Museum and Oliver Cromwell's House, all within a reasonable walking distance. The breakfast was decent, although a bit more variety would have been nice. I truly appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, especially when they guided me to alternative dining options since the on-site bar was closed on Sunday nights.

Warm welcome with culinary delights

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff, setting the tone for our stay. Enjoyed good meals at the bar, with generous portions and great local ales. Beautiful evenings spent wandering nearby Ely.

It was disappointing to discover that the restaurant was closed on Sunday nights, and some rooms seem outdated. A bit more attention to details could significantly improve the experience. Our specific room felt cramped with limited amenities.

The apartment had low ceilings, which might be an issue. I encountered some temperature control problems. The heating was on a timer and the room was pretty chilly upon arrival. I found the menu limited and some of the dishes didn't match expectations, with one evening seeing a lack of communication on what was actually available. Some noise from nearby events in common areas made it tough to get to sleep. Lastly, there were complaints about the cleanliness and the overall need for better maintenance.

Great bar area, but room was quite small for two adults.

The stay featured avery comfy and tidy room with a cozy atmosphere. The friendly staff were particularly accommodating. The bland decor of the room fell short of expectations, and the lack of a full kitchen service was disappointing, leaving us reliant on takeaway for dinner. The need for better communication about meal options would enhance future experiences.

This hotel is super cozy and clean! The staff were really cute and the bar area looked nice. The location is perfect for the horse trials nearby. They have a cute box of danish for early leavers! I loved that the rooms were quiet and decent.

but there was no chair in my second room and breakfast starts way too late for me at 8:30.

Wi-fi worked well. Loved the funky darts area. Dull decor in the room.

The facilities are great, they serve a good cooked breakfast with pastries and wines, and the location was perfect for our trip.

I had a great one-night stay here and really enjoyed the wide variety of breakfast options available, like bangers and bacon.
